Homemade Thanksgiving Wreath

With October and Halloween coming to a close, it's time to start thinking about November's cooler days and Thanksgiving.

With these simple materials you can create the most beautiful wreath for indoors or outdoors.

You will need:

Wire wreath frame

(4) different decorative ribbons

Wire or zip ties

Orange yarn

Fake flowers, pumpkins, leaves

Hot glue

Scissors

Scrap material

Metal saying (optional)

Let's get started:

Tie the orange ribbon to the wreath frame and wrap the entire frame.

Now grab your ribbons and lay them on top of each other. Pinch the ends and separate the yarn to find the middle Wire of the frame. Wire the ribbon to the frame making sure the tails of your wire or zip ties are on the back side of the frame.

Now that the ribbons are secure to the frame create large loops making sure to pinch and wire each new loop. Repeat these steps going halfway around the frame. Once finished cut your ribbons and wire to the frame push any excess ribbon to the backside.

Now let's seperate our ribbons making sure to cover all the orange yarn.

Now on to the other side....

Start by hot gluing all your flowers, pumpkins and leaves in a random pattern making sure to cover all the orange yarn.

Oh my goodness it is so beautiful, but the middle of the wreath looks unfinished to me.

To solve this problem I hot glued some scrap material to the back of the wreath frame.

I then took my small metal saying from Dollar Tree added some glitter to it and hot glued it to the front of the material.

Bam !! It's beautiful!!

Add a hanger to the back and enjoy !!
