Dish Towel Bunny
Materials Needed:
Brown Dish towel
Poly fill
Twine
Rubber band
Large Beads with a hole
Brown, white, and pink paint
Hot glue
Medium plate
Scissors
I opened the dish towel and cut it in half. This will give you (2) bunnies.
I then took the medium plate or bowl (in my case) and traced around it making my outline a bit larger than the bowl.
I then cut out my circle took some poly fill and put it in the middle.
Then slowly gather all the edges and hold them with one hand while winding the rubber band around the gathered top.
Then I took the twine and wrapped it around the rubber band to hide it.
I then gathered my beads and put them on a stake stuck on some strofoam and painted them dark brown to match the dish towel.
Once dry I glued the bead to the dish towel and painted a face using the white and pink paint.
Using the left over dish towel I cut our some ears and painted the insides pink.
Once the ears are dry hot glue them into the hole on the top of the bead.
Finally add a cotton ball using hot glue to the back of the bunny for a tail.
Congratulations on creating your first bunny. It can be used in so many ways....in a dough bowl with greenery or on a two tiered tray. However you choose to use your creation I am glad you took the time to make one.
